I can just imagine Felix wearing these boots with his Norfolk jacket, out on some fishing or butterfly-hunting expedition. He probably thinks they make him look rather like an explorer in the jungles of South America. The staff generally feel he can pretend to be whatever he likes, but they do wish he wouldn’t turn up quite so regularly covered in mud.
