Provenance: Purchased from the artist’s Etsy shop in 2021

I’m no expert on flowers, but these vivid red and yellow striped tulips seem to be the ‘Semper Augustus’ variety (I’m very happy to be corrected by more knowledgeable gardeners or botanists!). In this painting they’re displayed in a blue-and-white Chinese porcelain vase, the perfect complement for the family’s real porcelain on display in the Drawing Room.
