Although similar in composition to Zadar’s other piece, Cupid Distressed, this is an earlier and slightly more classical treatment of the theme. Although the catalogue lists the piece as dating from 1997, the label on the base of our edition clearly states 1998. From Randall Zadar’s catalogue:
