A characteristic and relatively recent piece by Jane Graber. I’m rather fond of these little crocks, which will be displayed in the Servants’ Hall downstairs, and wonder what they might be used for. As this one has a fish painted on it, I fancy it might be the perfect storage container for mackerel paté: the stoneware would certainly keep it nice and cool in the pantry.
