How could I resist this? A bronze miniature-scale version of the Capitoline Wolf, one of the great pieces of ancient sculpture, which shows the wolf suckling the infants Romulus and Remus. It comes from the shop of Luisiana Valdacca, also known as Lilliput’s Treasures, which definitely lives up to its name. Cast in bronze, it’s surprisingly weighty despite its small size. Needless to say it’s a key piece in the Museum.
