Staffordshire dogs were a mainstay of 19th-century decoration, and we already had one pair of them, in the form of a painted set from Newtonwood Miniatures. But this tiny duo, with their blue-and-white colouring and their adorable faces, were irresistible. Handmade by Sally Meekins, they’ll join the family collection of blue and white Chinese and Delft porcelain in the Drawing Room.
