Another stupendous piece of furniture by Erzsébet Bodzas of Hungarian Miniatures. This easel is not only decorated with beautiful carvings, but also has a delicate chain attaching the back leg to the main body of the stand. Furthermore, the picture-rest can be moved up and down, should you wish, by unscrewing a tiny nut on the back to release the bolt, which can then be pegged into any one of a number of different holes, depending on the size of the frame to be displayed. Attention to detail always delights me and this is a stunner.
