I’ve loved so-called Savonarola chairs ever since I was a teenager. To me, they epitomised Renaissance Florence and the first thing I ever commissioned was a Savonarola chair of my own to take away to university. There are several miniature versions out there but nothing is as elegant as this gorgeous chair by Hungarian Miniatures. And yet, the back comes off and it does fold, just like the full-size version. Utterly gorgeous.
