A Christmas gift from my mum and dad, who bought it from Nicola Mascall’s stand at Kensington Dolls House Festival in December 2021 after a few pointed hints. Nicola makes kits of her various embroidery projects, but she also makes up a limited number herself for sale, which is a good thing, because I have neither the patience nor dexterity for ordinary needlework, let alone the miniature kind. Considering how popular her work is, I’m amazed that she still has samplers from 2013 in stock.
