The identification as ‘Hephaestus’ comes from the packaging but I’m not sure whether it derives from a statue of the god, or is just a generic Greek-style name. He’s slightly oversized and will look rather impressive with his colleagues lined up in the Library or Museum (or perhaps as part of an architectural ensemble somewhere else in the house).
