I must confess: I’m not entirely sure what kind of dog Beau is. He looks a bit like the love-child of a papillon and a sheltie, and perhaps those who are more knowledgeable about dogs will be able to help me out. I bought him privately from Neal and Lynne Andrew in Devon, who commissioned him from the late artisan Annie Willis in 2002.
