Fire Guard with Drying Linen

When the laundry room is at the other end of the house, one sometimes has to take matters into one’s own hands. In the maids’ bedroom, they drape wet towels and pillow cases over the fire guard to dry. This evocative little piece is by Country Contrast and was part of the first purchase I made from them at Miniatura in March 2022.
