Olga’s beautifully detailed miniatures tend to sell out very quickly, so I was delighted to be able to snaffle this lovely little basket of peaches and cherries. There are even four extra tiny loose cherries to scatter beside the basket in the display. A lovely piece for the kitchen – the fruit is beautiful enough for one of the ‘upstairs’ rooms, but the pretty basket with its rustic finish suggests that these are being kept ‘downstairs’, perhaps ready for a pie or a dessert course.
