This is one of a set of ten solid books which we ordered from Mariangela Gagliardi at the same time, chosen primarily on their aesthetic qualities, as the titles on the spines are so tiny we couldn’t read them on the computer screen. It’s been rather fun finding out which volumes we’ve ended up with.

I’m not entirely sure how to refer to this book. All I can really make out on the spine is ‘Hollands…’ and then we have the heraldic crest on the covers. From this, I assume it’s some kind of history of the Netherlands, but if anyone has any firmer information I’d be very grateful!
