Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to find. This egg rack turned up one day in Country Treasures’ Etsy shop, and we snaffled it. It’s unshowy, straightforward, and absolutely vital for the kitchen. I especially like the blank spaces where eggs have already been used: it adds to the feeling of simply wandering in to watch a slice of life that’s in progress.
