British manufacturer of miniatures in metal and resin, usually sold in kit form. Alison started her business in 2016, but has been interested in miniatures for a lot longer, as her mum was also involved in the field. Her creations include a variety of elaborate French-style furniture, vases and decorative objects, alongside everyday items from carpet beaters to plates, and stereoscope viewers to shoes. When not making miniatures, she creates gorgeous French-style finials and curtain poles for the interiors trade. A lady of many talents.
As we’re still newbies to the field, our first purchases from Alison have been some ready-made pieces, painted by fellow artisan Karen Bell – but I’m certainly looking forward to gaining the skills which will allow us to branch out and buy some of her other items.
