The artist Leslie Smith produces extremely high-quality replicas in miniature of Old Master paintings. His personal inclination is towards flower pictures, especially those of the Dutch 17th century, but he also produces paintings of animals, landscapes and portraits. We were thrilled to buy our first painting by Leslie at Kensington Dolls House Festival in May 2022 and very much hope to develop our collection of his work in the future. I should add that Leslie’s wife Lyndel is also a miniaturist, creating beautiful painted furniture.
