We know virtually nothing about the enigmatic M.A. Chandler. Claire Lees, who has sold several examples of his work, believes that his name may have been Michael, but I haven’t been able to find any confirmation of that. Although his biography may be sparse, his work is highly regarded and more is being discovered all the time. I am extremely fond of our little dinner gong and would love any further information that anyone can provide about the artisan who made it.
