Born in Shenzhen in China, Sinny (or Xinyi) Scott began her career as a singer and musician, before moving to the US after her marriage. After an unknown illness tragically curtailed her career by damaging her voice, Sinny found unexpected comfort in the world of miniatures. She started out making food from polymer clay but, since November 2015, she’s turned her hobby into a business, based in Georgia in the US. With a team of fellow artisans, she produces a whole range of miniatures, from furniture and dolls to shoes, although she particularly enjoys making miniatures versions of designer bags.
