This firm of miniature ceramicists is one of the most highly regarded in the world. On an everyday basis, they offer individual plates in a variety of glorious historical styles, each one based on an actual dated prototype, and a range of kitchen storage jars for various staple foods. Their dinner services, rarely produced nowadays, and offered only at fairs, are snapped up and their older ranges are fought over with aplomb on eBay. As newcomers to the field, we’re doing our best to compete, and have made a modest start on our china collection; but we hope one day to have a dining room graced with our own Stokesay dinner service.
Here are the works by Stokesay Ware in the Quartermaine Hall collection so far:

Set of three storage jars for raisins, currants and sultanas by Stokesay Ware (2022.160 [Currants]; 2022.161 [Raisins]; 2022.162 [Sultanas])
Stoneware Foot Warmer
A quirky little piece by Stokesay Ware is sure to keep miniature feet warm on a cold night (2022.140)
