At the heart of Quartermaine Hall is the museum. Study, kunstkammer, retreat, it’s all these things. Here the master of the house displays his collection of antiquities, natural history and objets d’art, shown only to his closest friends and the most discerning connoisseurs. And, to be honest, it also offers a place to hide away from the busyness of the household.
