Unfortunately we don’t know who made this delightful little doll, with her big smile, whom we bought on eBay. She wears an ochre cotton dress trimmed with lace, and a blue silk ribbon around her waist, which matches the bow in her hair. Underneath, she has a pair of white cotton bloomers and black shoes. Rosie is among the favourite toys of the family and moves happily between Night Nursery and Day Nursery. By night, she’s ready to be cuddled and to guard against nightmares while, by day, she’s often to be found being wheeled around the Day Nursery in the dolls’ pram.
